I run a 175w MH and a 65w PC on my daughters 29. I have two P4 cooler fans running when ever the lights are on and I set the heater to only come on while the halide is off. I evap close to 1 gallon per day in the summer.

Temps stay cool its just the evap rate that goes crazy. The best thing I ever did was put an ATO on that tank. I would recommend you do the same.
