Default metal halide pc combo
i am looking for a metal halide power compact combo in its own hood. i cant suspend and would like to put on top of tank or on legs. i have a refugium on back of tank whick only leave about 10 1/2 in for fixture to sit on tank. are there any that thin from front to back? i have a coralife pc with two 96watt bulbs on now.

&&Right now I'm in the middle of a conversion from reef to Discus/ planted aquarium. Hair algae beat me down. Maybe a nano in the future. Everything screwed up so I'm converting to FOWLR. Wish me luck.

how do i contact him? would mh be overkill for a 30gal with no sps? can mh be in a hood set on top of tank. i read they shold be at least 6in from water. thanks!

MH would give you maximum flexibility for clams and some light demanding LPS.
