Default Luminaire Temp

I have a 8x39watt hanging luminaire, at the moment i use 4x39w whites and 2x 22000k actinics, 6 bulbs are on in total, and damn this thing gets red hot can't touch the top for long, is this the same for everybody with a luminaire just wondering cause when i state hot i mean red hot...?

All type lighting like this gets HOT! really hot are your fans working in them ? One of the Fans or both even may be off and not working check them ? If the fans are blowing then its all you can do.
