 Lighting for a mixed 75 gal...MH..t5 or vho
I have a 75 gal running on 192 PC, which seems to be doing alright. I have sps to the top (acro and digi and monti) they have all been in there for about 6 months and are doing good. Now i want to upgrade my lighting...the only question is what...I have in mind MH, T5's or VHO's i want of course the cheapest not only product cost but long term cost. T5's are expensive upfront, but cheap if you run 4x54 ho long term, MH ...are expensive upfront and in the long run I would proly need 2x175 since I wouldnt wanna go the HQI way and I would proly want atleast 1 vho supplement antinic unless i go the 14 or 20k way.. so im running min 350 watts per month. So my last option is VHO I dont think 2x110 will do and if im going for 3x110 why not just do the 4x110. Cheap upfront but thats 400 watts a month double the cost of my pcs that are running now... Now I have heard of t6...which i think is more intense than t5's AND can be ran on a vho setup? Well Keep in mind I plan on having a mixed tank of a few sps on top a few large LPS on the bottom or maybe middle and mainly softies... Which seems best for this combo
