|  lighting advice for a 125
i currently have a 175w metal halide on each outer third of the tank and have plans to put a 250w in the center which currently just a has a 55w pc. do you think that will be enough or should i upgrade to 250's on all three sections

125 gallon glass. 3 10k 250w metal halides, 1 4ft 110w vho actinic. who knows how much live rock. yellow tang, domino, cinnamon clown, percula clown, flame angel,peppermint shrimp, camel shrimp, skunk shrimp, a few turbo snails, lots of hermit crabs, leather coral, branching frogspawn, mushrooms, too much xenia, and several different zoo's and button polyps |

there is a 6500k on the right and a 10000k on the left. thats something i have been debating is 10,000k or 6,500k | |

Sorry to be redundant, but how long is the tank? I would definitely upgrade all 3 (or 2 depending on the length of the tank)
Additionally, for the color, you could supplement with VHO or T-5's in the blue range.
6500 K gives growth, while the 20K end gives color. Look into the Radiums...they supposedly meet both needs somehow...don't know the details... | |

i have dual 250's hamilton retro kit for sale, with 12k bulbs all 5 months old, i agree tho upgrade the lights, i have the 250's over my 75  | |
