your lucky with a 75g tank you can use just about any light.its only 18-20 deep and 4ft long.you can use 4-6 ho t5's,2 mh with actinics, you can put as many pc bulbs as with fit.even vho's.its shallow enough for just about any type.for clams you may want mh

Here is what we are using in our 72

3 -- ATI Blue Plus
2 -- ATI True Actinics
1 -- ATI Aquablue
1 -- ATI Pro Color
1 -- UV Lighting AquaSun

In the following order from front to back:

Blue Plus/Actinic Plus
True Actinic
Blue Plus/Actinic Plus
UVL AquaSun/GE 6500K

ATI Pro Color
ATI Aquablue
True Actinic
Blue Plus/Actinic Plus

We have 1,3,5,7 come on first and then 2 hours later we have 2,4,6,8 come on

We then have 2,4,6,8 go out 2 hours before all lights are out...

This configuration gives the tank a beautiful coloring with a hint of purple...
