1st off, welcome to 3reef. 2nd, you need to know what type of corals you want to have now and in the near future. Depending on that info. you can make a educated decision. If you want all kinds of corals and since your tank is 24" deep, I would go with MH's. Again, it depends on what you plan on having.

i used marinedepot and bought one of the current orbit 150w metal halide pendant for my 29 gallon, just got it up today looks pretty good, comes with 3 moonlights and a timer thinking about buying another one, considering there only $129, elsewhere they are $250 i got the 10000k, then they listed the 14000k ones, so i'm gonna order one of those tonight, and have 2 above my 29 gallon 300 watts total, the ballast isn't too bad, barely gets warm, you might want to get something of 250w due to the depth of your tank, mines only 15" deep to the top of the and bed, i have to upload some pictures

I am just looking for a good sugestion about company or/model.

I have looked at tons of different models but I just need to know which to get.
I dont want to spend a lot of money I just want a good lighting system.

Corallife aqualight's or orbit MH's seem to be made well from what I've seen.

I was thinking about getting a couple of those for a 60 gallon reef. Do these create a huge heat issue and electric bill rise??
