i went out and bought Coralife 48 Inch Aqualight With 2-65W Actinic / 2-65W 10,000K Lamp Straight Pin Base (with fans) what kind of coral can be used with this lighting

I had the same wattage and I had zoa's, LTA's, anemones, ricordia's, xenias, candy corals, mushrooms and of course sun corals(they dont need light, lol)

i want to get some mh 250w on top of this but there dosent seem like much room is it nessisary that i get the mh what would be the diffrence

MH's give you the freedom of getting any kind of corals that you want without having the fear of them being not enough. Most MH fixtures come with legs and/or hanging hardware. And are goodif youhave a deep tank( deeper than 20" )

i have a very deep tank but i dont plan on putting them on the bottom could i keep an anenome in the tank and have it survive if i place it 14 inches down on top of a rock

Maybe, if it doesn't move on you. I kept a pretty large bta in my nano with 48watts over 12 gallon... The problem is it will go where it wants to.. Even if the lighting isn't optimal for the place it settles down in.....
