| Is This Just Me? Well...right now i dont have any pics to compare my thought with...but well...i just was looking at my tank today...and it doesnt seem as bright as it used to be...this is not because the bulbs are old...i just replaced them about 1 month ago...im wondering if it is because im using the dual 10,000k/6,700k and the dual actinics instead of the pure 10,000k and actinic....anyone know? _________ Tank Specs:
55 Gallon Mixed Reef
48" Tek Light: 4-54W T5 HO Fluorescents
Bulbs:
1 x 54w Fiji Purple T5 HO Fluorescent
1 x 54w Super Actinic Blue T5 HO Flourescent
1 x 54w 14000K AquaBlue 75/25 T5 HO Fluorescent
1 x 54w 10000k AquaSun T5 HO Fluorescent
Hard Stuff:
100+ lb. Fiji Live Rock
65+ lb. Live sand |

| ya bruce if feel ya. mine seems to dwindle some days and others it is sparkly bright. it all depends on what my corals are doing, also if my sand stays sifted by my critters it is always whiter. just some stuff to think about.

| I definetly can relate. On some days, the light looks good to me and some, not very satisfying. Oh well, the mysteries of reef lighting.

| Well...do you think a 10,000k/6,700k and 460/420 actinic will look different than a 10,000k and reg actinic? |
