The metal halides would be great for that depth, looks like a great fixture!

It should work fine. Corals that require more lighting can be placed towards the top of the tank closer to lighting. The general rule of thumb is about 4-5 watts per gallon. You might be just under or, right where you need to be.

I know this one guy have a figure like that is great however there is a problem, the legs that come with the fixture is too short and causing his tank to over heat I told him to jack it up and blow fan instead he bought a chiller

That fixture should work great. My only suggestion would be to try to find one with VHO or T5 actinics, but the halide poertion is great. The different actinic bulbs aren't necessary, but they are a better quality of actinic light.

55gal,260 watt PC(2x65 actinic,2x65 10k daylight,8 lunar LED) 45#LR, 45#LS, 3 maxi-jet 900's on a natural wavemaker timer, phosban reactor, 5 gal fuge (built out of standard 10 gallon tank) with chaeto, grape, and feather caulerpa, sealife systems protein skimmer, wet/dry, 4 blue/green chromi, 1 skunk cleaner shrimp, 2 lyretail anthias, 1 royal gramma,1 true perc 5 mexican turbo snails, assorted dwarf blue leg hermits, astrea snails, and nerite snails

On the 48 in orbit 2x150 2x130 compacts and a moon light I may be able to save you some noticable $$$ P/M me if you need . P/C work fine for actinic just depends on type of bulb used.
