| Hey! You can use very cheap power supply that operates at 12V (CPU fans with temp control are usually 12V) and connect it to the fan! |

| Ebay, as long as its 12 volt like this one 12V power or you could go with a fan and Power supply like these.
I buy my stuff for computers and my tanks from tese people, prices are great and shipping is really cheap. | W.W Grainger sells to the public on line look for their Axel 120 V fans 25.00 or so and move some air. Computer fans really are weak at 45 CFM or so where theses run from 120 CFM and up. I prefer the ball bearing fans to the sleeve type models _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

I prefer the ball bearing fans to the sleeve type models | I agree most computer fans are weak, but I also have found that the Axel fans are extremely noisy. I use them in some of the work station computer cabinets we have at work, I have to cool them down because the owner will not let me take the doors off "because it looks bad"
I have found one brand of 12V fans, Vantec that moves more air than most. Their 120mm Fan moves 94 CFM and isn't any where near as noisy as the Axel. Its not quite 120 CFM but its darn close. |
