Default Coralife 48" x65w or x96w?

I'm planning on adding some corals to my reef tank in the near future but had a question on lighting. I'm looking at the Coralife 48" x65 watts which would give me 260 watts total for my 55 gal tank. I plan to get soft corals and LPS's now but I'm wondering if I should go to the greater expense of the upgraded 96 watt version(384 total watts) in case I want SPS's in the future. Any opinions welcome.

hi i have the same thing. i have a 55 gal. w/ 260 watt. it's pretty good for softies and LPS. i also have a corecea clam and a brown acro SPS. but i'm gonna upgrade to 2x250 MH soon to get more SPS and have more colorful stuff. i would go w/ the 384 for now it's gonna be a lot prettier in your tank. but if you really wanna go all out id get now before you spend the $400 or so on it, some 2x175 or 2x250 MH for about the same price.
