can anyone tell me if a black light bulb will make coral and anemones colors brighter

ill try that actinics if it gives the same effect perfect.
why question. the black light filters out the white light aka florescent and other types. just displaying the colors at a frequency like no other. i was thinking along with the coralife bulbs the corals would stand out above any other lamp around.

Using black light will actually contribute to bad algae growth unfortunately. Actinics are definitely the way to go!
