Default 20 long

I have a 20 long with sps and soft corals in it. I just bought a 150 watt MH fixture and was wondering if that would be too much intensity for my corals. How high off the water should I hang the fixture, what spectrum bulb would give me a balance of growth and still easy to look at? I dont have any actinics. Should I go with a 20 k bulb since it is such a shallow tank?

Well you can try a "15K" bulb it has a real nice tinge of blue' and over a 20 long it should'int be hammering every thing.
Although never under estimate for lighting.

I would also maybe put atleast one strip or somthing with an actinic bulb so as not to "light shock" every thing in the tank. (imo)
