I have a Aqua Medic Turboflotor. I like it. You can read my review on the review section.

Some here have had the Coralife, EuroReef, ASM as well

afishcionado suggestion really depend on your setup! internal sump skimmer i would suggest an ASM above any other(i use a G-3 on my 90gal). External i would use the Aqua Medic Turboflotor like Matt suggested.

Most inportant is what setup are you using and what setup are you going for in the future. Being a main piece or equipment you should plan ahead for changes that you might want to get to (i.e bigger tank, refugium, external, internal or just easy to use. My biggest suggestion is to post what you are planning to do on your setup and I am sure someone will be able to give you so much information you won't know which one to go with.

Good luck with your tank(s)

Is there a main reason for your decision to go with a needle impeller? You should check out the AquaC series of skimmers. What size tank is it going on(skimmer)? There is the Remora and Urchin series and the upper end/ stronger skimmers in the EV series! Just a suggestion, as i've heard nothing but good things regarding the AquaC line, not to mention, that i'm running the Remora model on my 75 gallon reef.

Alot of Aqua-c onwers end up being dispointed by there skimmer. There good skimmer and well built but they don't perforn as well as needlewheels or becketts.
