Default Tunze 3115/2
Hiya! Has anyone out there had any experience of the tunze 3115/2 skimmer! I finally bit the bullet after wasting as much money as i have on this unit on cheaper skimmers which just did not work! (this includes amiracle). The instructions that came with it are to say the least very brief and somewhat confusing!!! what sort of height in the column should i have the bubbles? any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Just had correspondance from rodger at tunze USA and he explained how to get it up and running!

However he said that the skimmate will be lighter than what many other skimmers produce and this has to do with the design leaning towards removal of cellulose and plant organics and less towards albumin.

does this mean i will need another skimmer to remove the albumin?

PLEASE HELP!

This was an expensive skimmer!!!!!!

I did a search and couldn't find anything specific ti this hobby on that subject. Albumin is "most prevalent protein of the blood plasma". Ask Roger of Tunze USA and let's see what he has to say, eh?
