Default Which of these 2 skimmers are my best bet?

I'm needing a skimmer for my fowlr tank and am trying to figure out which one would be best. ASM G3 ot MRC3 dual becket with the iwaki pump. The ASM would be a new purchase for about $300 and the other is used for the same price. I have read pros and cons of both. The most worrisome is the constant tweaking of the MRC. Can anyone give me feedback on their experiences with either or both? Thanks !

Someone said that the power usage of the MRC is enormous due to the pump. Have you noticed that?

Might want to look at one of these. The EV400 is my next purchase.
