Default Skimmer for JBJ 12gal nano DX

Hey all. We have setup a nanno cube at the office... its been running close to a year now. Everything is going good. Just wanted to know if anybody seen or herd about a skimmer that would fit in the JBJ 12gal cube. We dont want to modify the heck out of the canopy or the tank itself so... it has to be small, looking for something that will fit in the back.

Thanks for any info.

Marc.

In the back (inside) or on the back (outside)?

This is the smallest skimmer I know of.

I rather have on in the back inside the tank. I saw this little skimmer Matt but ive read some bad things on it. constant adjustment and air bubbles all the time. but for the price we might try it anyways.

Thanks Mike but i will try to find it locally, since im in canada its always a pain to order from the US with the exchange and the duty fee.

Thanks guys.

Marc.

I've modded afew nano cube w/ skimmers and have found that even when dialed in they really dont merit the effort of tweaking stuff. The best mod ive seen for the nanos that produces results is the mini overflow they sell as an attachment, runs about $15 and anhilates that slick on the waters surface.

Aqua C... cool.. thanks Raven ill check that out.

AquatechNick : weve lowered the water level in the cube so the water is getting skimed off the top. And weve filled the whole back part of the tank with LR. When we test the water everything is in acceptable range. but we have to stay on top of the water changes and regular maintenance cause if not... well you know the story... its only 12gal...

I was talking with one of my LFS guys and he told me about a new mini skimmer from Champion that is supposed to fit in there... Tried to find some info on it but couldnt find anything. Hes suppose to order a couple to test them out.

Thanks guys.

Marc.

The new 2006 Marine Depot catalog from www.marinedepot.com says the new Remora Nano skimmer is coming soon. Its for tanks 5-25g and is 16" tall and 2.75" deep. It uses a maxijet 900 pump. I checked Aqua C's web site and dont see it listed yet. You could email Aqua C and find out when it will be available. The customer service at Aqua C is the best in the business. They respond quickly and answer their phones as well. I have received new parts for my skimmers for free. GEEZ, I sound like a salesman, LOL.
