skimmer down for 24 hrs. help

my diy skimmer sprung a small drip. ran for a good 4 months no problem, so i turned it off dryed it out and im a bout to reseal it. my question is will my oxygen levels fall to a leathal low? in about 24 hours for dry time. i also have a HOB bio wheel filter, hydor koralia 2, maxi 600, for circulation. i got 44 gal tank, pair clownfish, & scooter dragonette, 2 hermits, no corals, LS, LR,

I don't see it dropping that much in 24 hours. You should be fine.... Thats just what I think. I'm pretty new myself....

the skimmer doesnt introduce as much oxygen into the system as you think. a wet/dry or having the input flow break the surface of the tank water water will introduce more. so dont panic.

Agreed. You can always hook up an air pump in the mean time to help if you want.

Yes the skimmer doesn't introduce a hole ton of O2 into the water. There are a lot of very successful reef tanks out there that don't even have skimmers.

I have been down for a day or two with no skimmer when I have had problems in the past with no problems whatsover...
