Default Which Skimmer is Better?

I am looking for a hang-on type skimmer and have narrowed it down to either the Aqua C Remora or the CPR Bak Pak. Am looking for something that skims well, is user friendly, easy to maintain and won't put a million bubbles into the tank after it's broken in.

Can anyone offer up advice on which skimmer is better?

Thanks!

IMHO I think the Remora is the better skimmer. I have 2 of them. The Remora Pro and the Remora. There is no adjusting except for the height of the collection cup and you dont have to constantly adjust air intakes for a venturi valve. Other than regular cleaning, they are virtually maintenance free and do any excellent job on tanks 120g and less. What size tank will you be using it on? If its less than 75g get the Remora with the maxijet pump. If it's 75 or greater I would recommend the Remora Pro with the Rio 1400 plus UL rated pump. The mag drive pump is a better pump but its much larger than the Rio and IMO would not want that large of a pump sitting inside my tank. Hope this helps!

I used my Remora on the my 20 hex and now on my 20 long with 10 gallon sump. It's good for what you are looking for. It will put bubbles in the tank for a while, then they go down to the point where you don't notice them so much. I second the maxi-jet 1200, get that pump.
