IMHO I think the Remora is the better skimmer. I have 2 of them. The Remora Pro and the Remora. There is no adjusting except for the height of the collection cup and you dont have to constantly adjust air intakes for a venturi valve. Other than regular cleaning, they are virtually maintenance free and do any excellent job on tanks 120g and less. What size tank will you be using it on? If its less than 75g get the Remora with the maxijet pump. If it's 75 or greater I would recommend the Remora Pro with the Rio 1400 plus UL rated pump. The mag drive pump is a better pump but its much larger than the Rio and IMO would not want that large of a pump sitting inside my tank.
