sorry i have to wait till morning to reply i just moved and dont have inter hooked up yet.
ok ready the screw type valve needs a hose converter from threaded to hose. my skimmer uses 1/4 line if you are using other let me know ill give you the number for that.
Grainger Industrial Supply
US, Canda 1-800-323-0620
screw valve 4A789 $14.67
male fitting 6X409 $0.75
remember if you use different sizes let me know i dont want you to order something over the phone and get hosed --- ha ha get it. j/k
if the adapter doesnt fit yor local corner store will have one i didnt need to order one of those i had some here at work. i believe the inside diam. of the line is 1/8 but the smallest they sell is 1/4 i am not to sure so dont hold me to the fitting since the fitting is only 75c but the valve is right.

this stupid thing is either working insainly perfect or is sucking i dont know. for like two days it wont do a thing. and for about three hours it will foam like a pro. yesterday i had to empty the cup every two minutes or it would overflow. so im thinking it does it job in three hours and has nothing else to skim out.
