| Prisim skimmer help please i have had my skimmer set up for about 3 months now. its a prisim deluxe rated for 100g. today i did water change and now it is nothing but bubbles in the skimmer. i did not clean it at all. would this happen if it runs dry for a while? it did run dry a few weeks ago over night, but that was only time. right now i have the water valve shut down almost completely and still pushing tons of bubbles into collection cup making it hold nothing but clear water.
anyone who knows please help

| Re: Prisim skimmer help please So just to be sure, you have the Prizm Deluxe not the Prizm Pro Deluxe right?
According to those links, all you have for adjustments is the flow regulator. *
I am VERY surprised there is not a vertical adjustment like on the Remora where you can raise the collection cup higher.
Was it working fine before?
You must of stirred things up when you did the water change. I bet it settles down. |

| Re: Prisim skimmer help please Yeah, when I did some research, I found a lot of people bashing that skimmer.
Conversely, for the money, a lot of people seem to like The AquaMedic TurboFlotor.
My friend in Chicago had one and it was solid white from bubbles.
