ROFL!!! I'll bet your wife would not appreciate that comment!!! LOL....

On your reef (not to hijack your thread but here I go...) how often do you empty the cup on the berlin? Do you run for a dry or wet skimmate? I run mine for dry but am wondering if I need to dial it up a bit. Trace ammonia (like .01 with 30 minute test), zero nitrite, zero nitrate.

i go for a skimmate that is kinda in between if that makes any sense. i empty the cup every sat or sunday whichever day i do my water change. my skimmate is on the wet side, however the hole that comes up through the collection cup gets almost clogged up from the nasty waste. the berlin is still my favorite skimmer. i work at a aquarium shop and i can get any skimmer i want at cost and i still chose the berlin, and i am not sorry at all.

Great shots! I like wetter foam as it gets more DOCs out of my tank.

yup! nice frothy skimmate.

I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong!
