Default Odyssea Pro Pack

I had used Bak Paks a few years ago and liked them, and when I deceided to go Marine again I seen an add for the Odyssea, a duplicate of the Bak Pak. I'M giving it a try and so far "not bad". It has a 282 gal. per hr PH that works good with a venturi, and 2 days after putting in LR it started putting out dark foam, the Ph went up to 8.2 and ammonia started dropping, ditto for Nitrites. That was a week ago and am putting fish in today. They put a muffler on the air hose that has a side opening for air and it doesn't have that gurgling air sucking noise. Not bad for 40.00.

Default Re: Odyssea Pro Pack

I just bought one of those from Ebay. I'm in the UK so will have to convert the voltage or use a different pump as we use 240volts on 50Hz.

The skimmers that are available in the UK are either inflated in terms of price or absolutley trash as some do not skim (like my existing one that I'm replacing with the Odyssea Pro Pack External)
