Default Is my skimmer working?

I mean I know its working, but is it working efficiently? My skimmer took about a month and a half to produce this much skimmate, is this reasonable or should I have more?. I only have 4 chromis, 1 yellow tang, and a flame hawkfish. I feed flakes and some seaweed every other day.

By the way the skimmer is a Octupus NW-200. Yeah its a little gross but just think of it as mud.

The more it builds up the thick sludge on the riser tube the less efficiently it will skim. I'd say it's doing really well. Just clean it more often and that will ensure it's always working at it's most efficiente

With your skimmate being that green and your feeding seaweed leads me to believe you're skimming excess seaweed from your tank. Just my opinion, Im not there to look at it to know for sure.

Yeah it does skim extra seaweed. The tang rips it off the clip and it goes to the skimmer. But i dont give the tang that big of a piece.
