Default MR2 Skimmer Extension
I'm currently running a MR2 skimmer with a Iwaki70 pump that also pumps water my tank upstairs. So I'm going to change my pump configuration to have a separate Iwaki feeding the skimmer and was going to add an 8" extension to the skimmer. Just wondering if anyone has a similar skimmer and have added the extension to it. If so did you fell it was worth it?Also I will be adding about 100 gallons of water to my system with a new tank so I want to get everything ready.

I have a MRC 3 with the original height. It seems to work well for me. I am using it to skim4 tanks totalling about 250 gallon.
