Default Help Please! Skimmer Reccommedations for a 155

Hey everyone! I was recently given the opportunity to take over the care of a 155 gallon bowfront aquarium with a 55 gallon sump in a local restaurant. I was curious about which skimmer you guys would reccommend for this tank. The owner's goal is to have "nice fish and a few cool corals". What do you guys reccommend. I was looking at the Euro-Reef RS180 or something else along those lines. I am open to any reccommendations. Let me know what you guys think. Price range is under $400.

Check out the Coralife line of skimmers. For a tank that size I would recommend the Coralife 220.

Very easy on the wallet as well.

H&S, Deltec, EuroReef, Bubble Master or Bubble King would be what I would look at. At top notch skimmers

FWIW, we got a Coralife SS220 when we set up our tank - we're still new to this (tank set up in May and our first tank ever), and have had one SS220 fail on us, and are about to replace it as we upgrade our system to a better sump with a fuge.

I'll say it carefully, especially because I'm no expert, but I was very unhappy with the Coralife SS220, both in terms of quality, need to constantly adjust, issues with air intake, and difficulty in finally getting to the manufacturer.

Our lfs did a great job of supporting us by replacing out of stock and handling the return on our first failure, so that was appreciated.

But the quality just isn't there in my opinion, nor is the design. I'd look to better quality units - this seems to be the main area where you don;t want to save money, you want the best, and easiest to maintain since it's the heart of your system's health.
