Default Extremely frustrated!

Ok...here is my problem. I had a small amount of cyno. in a couple of dead spots (which have now had more flow added too) a while back. About 3 weeks or so. I decided to try ultralife red slime remover (which I will never use again if I can help it) to help rid the problem while I fixed flow issue. My problem is this. I have not been able to turn my skimmer on since. The skimmer fills up right away and is causing a ton of fizz like microbubbles. It has been three weeks and I have done 4 water changes trying to be able to get my skimmer up and running normally again. I am running a phosban reactor with seachem gel in it. The skimmer is a euro reef rs135. I am pulling my hair out trying to get the skimmer up and running normally again.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You have to adjust the skimmers air inlet down to allow the skimmer to remove it slowly.. The adjust the air open more and more gradually as it settle back in. You do have a air control valve on the 1/4 air pipe don't you ? Its easier then playing with the slide all the time

Have you moved the water level slide thing down to lower the water inside the mixing chamber so that it's about 1/2 inch lower then the throat ? That way the water will have a longer dwell time with the air and then the building foam will have a expansion area .. Skimmers take some tweaking take two out of the box and both will act totally different in their operation even on the same tank Air inlet and chamber water level are the key to adjustment. Start them off low and open them gradually until you get where you need to be..
