I have a Red Sea Prizim HOB venturi skimmer. It's only about 3-4cm thick and 15cm tall, but it stinks. Really terrible- either doesn't skim at all or fills up too quickly.

I have seen some custom jobs that are the same price and can be HOB/internal. Needle wheel and fuge design. Same price as the Prizim. Oh well...

Well guys last night i went ahead and purchased mt first air line skimmer, will let you know how it doe's its the lees skimmer, here is a review.

you could try a seaclone skimmer they are real cheap and i think they are slim enough to fit in the space between your tank and the wall they work pretty good for a HOB skimmer
