The advertised price can't be below Euroreefs's recommended retail price. Many comapnies do that, not uncommon, they're just setting the value of their own product and assuring it's sellablilty to retailers. I love my Euroreef, I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I recieved last time I had an impellar go out (debris broke it, damn screen failed!!!). I got the impellar the next day, the system didn't even flinch and it was LOADED (coral holding tank - 300g w/ approx. 200 corals and 80 starfish at the time).

You can't go wrong with Euroreefs, really.

update on my euroreef, the damn top popped off while I was cleaning it! I must say I was disappointed in costumer service and I quote “you can either glue it yourself or send it to us and we’ll charge you for shipping” it’s a $248 skimmer and that was 3 years ago! I still think it’s a great skimmer but I’ll handle it with kit gloves from now on

Euroreef update

I had to order the Weldon #4 glue it took a week for it to get here and I finally arrived last night. I glued it after a few tries it finally took and dammit there was just an itty bitty gap at one point so I used just a dab of silicon on the gap and I’ll be checking for leaks tonight.

What part came off exactly? I am a little confused as the top is supposed to come off isn't it?

Oh so not the quick release. That sucks. Is the leak stopped?

I'm going to try it tonight. I'm pretty sure it will hold, the gap was only a mil or two tall and about an inch to an inch and a half long
