Default ECO Aqualizer - Does it work?

I recently stumbled across the following web page advertising a new type of skimmer. Does any one know if it really works or has tried it?

Its not a skimmer its a piece of one inch PVC plastic pipe wrapped in black tape and a few ply-able refrigerator type magnets that are wrapped around the pipe and is supposed to realign the molecules of the water LOL Like the magic magnets in those 10.95 Marcile bracelets for the wrist that are supposed to cure all your Ill's from moles colds and sore as never mind (: I've never heard these water things ever did anything really other then separate a fool from their money (:
Several studies also done with them and they also said they did little if anything. Its the power of the magnets LOL

It's not a skimmer, it's a plastic tube with a few magnets taped on the outside of it, then covered with a nice shiny label. The dirty water goes in one end, and comes out the other end magically clean.

Does it work. Not while there's a hole in my bum.

Welcome to the forum.

Posted at the same time as above.

If you buy one and believe it works then I've got a great deal on some ocean front property in Arizona for you!

Other companies sell a similar product as a water softener to remove calcium and magnesium from your drinking water. Consumer reports did a test on it and says it does not remove a thing from the water and that it is bogus.

Default ECO Aqualizer

About 15 years ago already some outfit came out with a thing like that for your water sourse to your house. You clamped two magnets onto the pipe and it was supposed to draw any iron ions from the water and make the water soft and you could through away the softener. A guy that worked with us was selling them and they went for $150. But he told us we could have it for $100,--no takers. We found out later that some people who bought it had their water tested and found the thing wasn't doing a thing, and he had to pay back a bunch of money. About the only thing this ECO thing will remove is you money from your wallet.
