| Have had EV-180 for years now...Works flawlessly, with minimum maintenace...good support from AquaC if you ever have any questions about it.
Recommend getting the large ("smellless" ) overflow container for it.
This thing can really suck out the crap. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
12 Gallon NanoCube - 24w stock PC 50/50 light "...nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank, only bad things happen fast..."

| I have the EV180 and love it!
I use it for my 125 and it is basically plug and play.
Just have to get some PVC pipping for the pump to the skimmer is all! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. Luna | Only thing I think you have to decide on is what pump you want to run it with...seems to me either Mag Drive 7 or Rio 3100.
Don't really know much difference.
I have the Mag Drive...been going strong for 5 years now with 1 impeller replacement. (might be reason to go with Mag Drive...impellers easy to come by)
Don't know if JG fitting optional...but you need to get if you ever plan on introducing Ozone to skimmer.
& Again I recommend,,
AquaC EV Series skimmers can be operated with the Auto Waste Collector. Unlike other brands, these waste jugs feature AquaC`s Twist-Lock flanges with EPDM gaskets that are a snap to remove. Simply twist and pull apart--there aren`t any screws to fiddle with. The carbon chamber reduces ozone odors and the skimmate`s foul odor.
* Takes either 5/8" or 3/4" hose
* Auto shut-off valve prevents overflowing
* 18" X 7"

| I love my ev-300 except it is to large and won't fit under my stand. But I got a sweet deal on it.
I have mine fed by a large external pump and the return is a 15in or 2in (can't remember) pvc. Once you get these dialed in you never need to adjust them. At least that is my experience.
