Coralife Super Skimmer 125 I just bought a coralife super skimmer 125 for my 30 gallon fowlr, it started to produce skimmate after 24 hours, and it was working good until i noticed micro bubbles coming from the pump intake and pump housing, thought maybe an o-ring went bad on it but it checked out, then I noticed the ceramic shaft going through the magnetic drive and needle wheel impeller was broke in half, don't know if I caused it or if it was like that. I tried calling ESU but its the weekend and no one answered. Has anyone had this happen to them, does anyone know of any links to find a replacement ceramic shaft and some replacement o-rings for the pump housing and pump intake. I put it back together and the skimmer still works, it leaks the micro bubbles at the housing, I can live with that until I get some o-rings, but the ceramic shaft is another problem. I measured the ceramic shaft and its diameter is .115", I can get titanium and stainless rod in .125 from my dad, I'll have to do a little modification, but with the titanium or stainless rod it should prevent it from being broken so easily as using a ceramic shaft.
I'll try calling ESU tomorrow and see what they can do for me. Let me know what you all think
