Coralife not powering on..

My skimmer isn't powering on! It's plugged in, but the pump isn't even trying to start. I've tried many different outlets... nothing.

I had been running it 24/7, but thought I was skimming out some valuable things, so I've been turning it off occasionally. It says on the label of the power cable that it shouldn't be used with wave devices (or other on-off devices). Could me unpluging it more frequently have caused a problem?
Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

Have you tried removing the impeller, cleaning it and putting it back in?

Ya I just had a MAG 18 fail.
Whay kind of pump is it?

I would try cleaning it. Is it hot to the touch?

It's funny that a pump will run fine for months and would run for ever just fine. But if you stop it sometimes it just won't start back up

needle wheel? I'm not too sure. Not hot to the touch... but I did unplug it again.

How long have you had it? You probably need to just clean it.
