Default BAK-PAK 2 Skimmer Help
Hello all, i have a bak-pak 2 skimmer and i am having problems with the ph...it has stoped making bubbles...the ph is working but for some reason no bubbles will come...i have check the tubes and have cleaned it many times...usually ill clean it and then 1 week later it stops...is there another one besides rio that would work and if so what attatchments would i need to get?

Get an equivalent maxijet pump and trash the Rio. *Via aqua pump will work too! I think the maxijet 900 will work with it. Its rated at 230 gph vs 200 gph for the Rio 600. So you might even get a little better performance from your skimmer. Maxijets are very reliable pumps.

Agreed I would put a Maxi-Jet 900 or 1200 with the venturi kit on it.

Max-Jet 1200 w/ Venturi Kit is the way to go. I used to have a spare RIO and just keep switching and this was a royal pain.
