| Re: Backpack proteen skimmer KB, I would go with the Remora skimmer by AquaC. The remora is rated at 75g max and the Remora pro is up to 120g. If you go with the remora get the maxijet pump or no pump and get a mag3, Via Aqua 1300 or rio 1100 or 1400plus pump to run it and it will be fine for the 72g tank. By the way, how do you like the ASM skimmer? I'm thinking about getting one. Almost forgot. I think Matt Rogers has a used Remora skimmer for sale on this site. _________ 75g reef with Nova Extreme 8 bulb HO T-5 lighting, refuge, Remora skimmer, DSB, Seio powerheads, Acro's, LPS corals, assorted zoo's & mushrooms, Yellow Tang, Maroon Clown, Blue Cleaner Goby , Cleaner, Fire and Sexy Shrimp, Coco Worm, T.Crocea Clam, Derasa Clam
120g FOWLR, 260w Orbit power compact lights, Remora Pro skimmer, 30g DIY Sump/Refuge, DSB,Seio Power heads, Powder Blue Tang, Purple Tang, Flag Fin Angel, False Eye Puffer, Copperbanded Butterfly and a Moorish Idol |

| Re: Backpack proteen skimmer The asm is a good skimmer although I think it would operate better in a deep sump mine is in about 8 " of water and I have to keep the extension tube all the way up, when I run my sump deeper the skimmer works much better but the display tank looks rough if you can see the waterline and return makes too much noise |
