| AquaC EV120 Ok, I am now considering swapping out my Coralife 125 for the AquaC EV120. I am not sure if the Coralife 125 is properly functioning. It has been up for about 3 weeks and very little skimmate is being produced.
Also considering adding a cannister filter, Eheim 2215 to the setup.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
Regards
Lou |

| The AquaC skimmers are great. Never recall hearing anything bad about them.
The company provides great support if needed.
If kept clean, they are pretty failsafe.

| The Aqua C EV line of skimmers is a proven positive skimmer! I have the Remora and the Ev180 with great success and no problems with setting it up or its effectiveness. Just make sure that you do maintenance checks periodically to clean etc. to ensure its efficiency.
As for the cannister filter, I wouldn't bother with them as they are better associated with freshwater and Africans, IMO. Unless you plan on using it to store carbon, increase water flow or redsign the cannister by housing live rock instead of noodles or bioballs, I would spend the money on livestock or lighting etc.! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F.
