| Ahh!! Prizm leaking water! Ok, so my prizm deluxe is leaking everywhere. *I watched it for the first few days but it's been dripping on the back without me noticing. *I'm just a tad pissed off because it's started ruining the nice stand it's sitting on.
I have a 75gal fresh and i use a canstier filter (Magnum Pro). *I really like it, never had a problem with leaks. *What can i get for my 50gal salt that will not leak like this? *I don't really trust the HOT kind any more after this. *I'd much rather have one that i can put under the tank. *I see everyone recommends the Remora C. *Do these leak at ALL? *And how is the sound with them? *What is similarly priced that I can put under the tank to reduce noise? |

| Re: Ahh!! Prizm leaking water! Everywhere, lol. Mostly from the top where the foam boils over. There is one drainage spot on the right and on the left is the air injection hose. It comes out the small overflow hole and has managed to just leak everywhere very slowly. I hope my stand isn't ruined! |

| Re: Ahh!! Prizm leaking water! Just thought i'd let everyone know that I just had the stupid thing turned up way to high. I've never seen a protien skimmer in action to realize that there isn't supposed to be any water flowing through the collection cup. Just a bit of foam that's all. Water was constantly dripping out of the overflow and leaking there and also leaking out of the main seal where the cup sits on top.
Soooo.. needless to say i'm going to give the prizm another go at it. I've got some pretty nasty green foam sitting in the top and just a bit of nasty green water in the bottom of the collection cup too. Working much better . |

| Re: Ahh!! Prizm leaking water! I woke up to the same thing not too long ago glocklt4, pulled a full cup of nice greenish brown fluid and then some (much more than a cup on my floor) onto my dresser and floor the first night i opened it up all the way. I have since dialed it in and had great results on my 12 gallon reef. _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan...... |
