Default Advice on adjusting Via Aqua hangon Skimmer 911!!!
I have had the skimmer for over a year and never used it. now im setting up a tank and thought on slappin it on BUT it sounds like Horror

WHY>?
How do or what do i have to do to make it quieter?
Is it a breakin in period? Or what
Please help

The soud comes from the compartment where the motor is joining with the air coming in from the tube. Creating the Venturi method (i guess)
I noticed some sluggy stuff on the top of the neck of the collection cup
the tank has only been running for a week with the skimmer.
