Alright, so I want to upgrade from my 30 gallon to a 75. I already purchased the lights for it, even though i lack the tank haha... anyways, Im looking to get an in-sump protein skimmer which also includes a return pump. I don't want to have to spend $200 on a protein skimmer and another 100 or so on a return pump. Whats an ideal GPH for a pump and is there any protein skimmer/pump combinations?

    thanks

My Coralife Superskimmer came with everything. It isn't the very best skimmer out there, but its good and very serviceable.

Someone else had asked the same thing and someone said that you can by putting a y on the return line with valves. I have a coral life skimmer and the pump more than likely is not capable of being a return and strong enough to skim. considering what you want to do, it is not a good choice cause it comes with the pump.
