|  38 Gal Tank Skimmer
Hallo all, its been a while since i have been in the market for skimmers...i am in the process of developing a 38gal shortened cubish tank...the tank will prolly have a 10-20 gal sump and i am wondering what skimmer would be good for the job...thanks everyone
I have a bak-pak2 skimmer and i love it...but i dont need a hang on one anymore..so..  _________ Tank Specs:

Urchin pro by Aqua C with a mag 5 or Rio 1700 pump instead of the mag 3 or Rio 1400. Its a nice compact skimmer thats basically set and forget. Its rated for 40-120g. _________ 75g reef with Nova Extreme 8 bulb HO T-5 lighting, refuge, Remora skimmer, DSB, Seio powerheads, Acro's, LPS corals, assorted zoo's & mushrooms, Yellow Tang, Maroon Clown, Blue Cleaner Goby , Cleaner, Fire and Sexy Shrimp, Coco Worm, T.Crocea Clam, Derasa Clam

Also will anyone 2nd me idea that 280w of lights would be more than enough for this tank? i am looking at the outer orbit which is 1x 150 10,000k HQI and 2 460/420 actinics 65W i think...i would put this 8-10" above the water because i really dont want to get a chiller... | |
