got mine yesterday. tested my water. the swing arm read 1.023 and the refractometer read 1.028

I give the blue one from Premium Aquatics a 9.
I had to take off a point because of a scatch near the prism assembly and some wear on the daylight plate.

Otherwise, it was easy to calibrate, mine was only off by a hair, and just COOL.

My first reading says my water is 1.025.
My Deep Six Hydrometer says 1.023.
Hmm...

No matter where the truth lies, this refractometer is a lot easier to use than a needle float hydrometer, so I give it a big thumbs up! [smiley=thumbs_up1.gif]

I ordered mine today from Premium Aquatics, I have no comparison as this will be my first SG tester of any kind. but thanks all for doing the leg work and even pointing me to PA for the best deal. I'll let you know how fun it is to operate. Thanks David

I got my RHS-10ATC Blue refractometer about a week ago and I feel a lot more secure about getting accurate salinity readings. PA has the best price. I found a similar product at Dr fosters, but they did not have the nice warranty that the RHS-10ATC does....
