it gives off 470 nm light.nearly the same as the moon and the same leds that are being sold it aquarium lamps.

He has a great link to an LED source as well as specs on resistors etc...

and i also dont see the need for a resistor for every led on the strip.
and if you go for a transformer that is closer to 1 amp you will be able to run more light per strip. |
