HI,

This product is very similar to ESV BIonic calcium. It's a 2 part which is one part buffer, one part calcium. It also includes iodine, strontium and many other trace elements though and often can be used as your only reef additive. People with heavy demand on some trace elements might find they need to get additional iodine, etc but for the most part it's designed to be an all-in-one solution.

You dose it in the morning before lights are on, just pour in part A first, then part B. It doesn't cloud the water like ESV does, seems to be easier to add to the tank. I've been using it about 1 month on my home tank and looks good so far, stable ph and all levels are doing good.

I haven't seen any hard test between ESV and Oceanblend, but first looks appears to be as good or better then ESV, plus you get the extra trace elements.

thanks

jason

Thanks a ton Jason for that info.
I currently use CalxMax by Warner Marine and the cost of the Oceans Blend is within my budget so I may try it out when my Calxmax is used.
