good Question. I would get something (refractometer) to measure SG and not rely on what the instructions tell you. you want to get your SG to 1.026

I would also put another power head in there to help mix. In my 75G reef I had 4 Maxi jet 1200s

I guess I could do that...

I do have a hydrometer
and it measures about 1.022
a little low...but I didnt want to add more with this problem in case I had to switch it all out

I will be going with a dsb about 3-4 inches
What type..I have no idea yet..

So should I add the sand 1st or LR?
I was told to add the LR first and cure it for like 3 weeks
