Default what should i do know?

I have a:

55gallon long tank
about 100lbs of LR
4 inch of LS
3 powerheads
Red Sea SKimmer
PC lighting 260watts
aquaclear filter

2 clowns
plenty of snails and hermits
RBTA
Long Tenticle Anemone
Sand Sifting Star

My tank has been running for 2 1/2 monthes now. My tank looks fine, but what should i do now? Is there anything that i need to do?

That's a pretty good setup ... you stocked pretty fast though.. especially with anemones... I'd stay put for a while.

Your sand sifting star will probably disinegrate... mine did ... Anthony Calfo told me once you need a 200 gallon tank for those things to have enough food.

Other than that... I'd probably just stay up on evaporation and water changes for a while.

Thanks for joining!

matt

My starfish has been in my tank for about a month now. It looks healthy to me. I have a pharma test kit. My water is doing great . Nitrate nitrite ammon 0 ph 8.2. everything looks fine. My tank looks fantastic. I am planning to get a clam. What would you guys recommend with my lighting?

Probably some of the less needy clams - Derasa or Squamosa (sp?).

My star lasted for 3-6 months then melted for what it's worth.

I'd save up for a better protein skimmer, but that is just me. Some people get really irritated at all the tweaking with the red sea skimmer. Some people run over theirs with their car after they bought an aquac remora because it made so much noise I COULDN'T SLEEP!
*($&#$^@

Anyway, if it works well for you, just disregard my.... outburst.
