Smile Update: Things look good, I think? (lots of pix)

So here are some of the more recent photos we took of the tank...

We also noticed we have some stuff growing on the side glass, don't know whether or not to clean it off or if it's good for the tank...

And I think this one might be a snail... he's really small and was only on eht back of the tank, there was one or two more like him but we couldn't get a good shot >.<

Here's another shot of one of the "snails" he's towards the top of the photo in the middle-ish

And here's one of our damsels named Coco and the neon goby (out of focus)...

We can't wait to see the LR start to get more colorful ^.^

Looks good and very algae free well done! Keep up the good work!

By the way i think those snails are stomatella. They will mutiply and keep a good check on all your algae growth, great addition to the tank.

Great pics. Will you be adding more LR in the future? That damsel will become aggressive in time. Luna

-Really? the striped damsel that I (ash) had back in Hawaii didn't seem to be aggressive to the tank... then again it was a fair bit smaller than the other members of my tank... =(

We are not planning to add more LR... we prefer the open look of the tank as it is, and are not looking into getting larger fish, but smaller ones... here are some of the ones we had in mind (we know that we can't have them all, but these are the ones in particular that caught our eyes... because of the color, experience requirements, and reef compatibility):

-Lawnmower Blenny
-Mandarin Dragonet (Green)
-False Percula Clownfish
-Fridmani Dottyback
-Velvet Fairy Wrasse
-Coco Worm (Pink) or Hawaiian Feather Dusters
-Cleaner Shrimp (white-striped)

-Tiger Cowrie
-Bumble Bee Snail
-Nassarius Snail
-Mexican Turbo Snail
-Queen Conch
-Dwarf Zebra Hermit Crab
-Blue Legged Hermit Crab
-Scarlet Hermit Crab
-Marshall Island Electric Blue Hermit

-Chili Coral
-Bullseye Mushroom
-Blue Ridge Coral
-Open Brain Coral (Trachyphyllia geoffroyi)
-Montipora Plate Coral (green)
-Red Finger Gorgonia

Let us know what you think of our choices! =)

Great pics, looks like you have a lot of Tonga Rock, we love that stuff....Ditto what Luna said, damsels tend to become aggressive especially if they are the first fish you put in the tank. It is possible that they will harass any other fish you introduce...
