Too many fish?

I have a 50gal bowfront that is about 6 weeks old. Cycle is just about done. I just have a few damsels, crabs and snails right now, but i would like to eventually have a yellow tang and a regal tang. I was thinking that 3" would be fine for both for the size of the tank. Maybe a small porcupine puffer as well. Is that too crowded? Trying to get an idea of what to start looking for.

I'm running a prizm deluxe and aquaclear 250.

Those tangs will outgrow that tank eventually.

Ya I would have to say that with a 50G Bow you have elliminated Tangs from you reef. I believe the Puffer needs minimum of 75G and is not reef safe.

Thanks for the link Matt! I have a 75 gallon tank right now that has my freshwater fish in them. My plan for right now is to get small fish and in about a year convert the 75 gallon to saltwater as well. Then move the fish that need more space there. Freshwater fish just aren't the same now that I've got salt going (one oscar, 2 green terrors, 1 jack demsky, 2 tin foil barbs).
