| Test Kits, any better then others? Lfs gave me the 5-1 teat strips like they use at their store which I thought that was all I needed. Would like to know if anyone has advise on a better test kit, one that is more complete .maybe brand name? |

  | API are affordable and reliable, with Elos offering a bit more precision.
Salifert has had some major issues, but they seem to be back on track. make sure you get a new kit, their alk's are coming with a reference solution to check the kit's accuracy.
Hagen are very poor in terms of accuracy, and some of Seachem's kits are questionable when compared to others (alk).

| I have gotten along fine for years using Saltwater Master Liquid Test Kit.
$17.99 at DFS
May not be "best" but works well and is affordable.
I supplement it with a Ca, Cu and PO4 test kits from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals which I also get from DFS.
What I use... _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)
