I've kind of narrowed it down to 3. Either a kole, yellow, or purple. Which one would you pick?

Kole. Yellows and purples are too aggressive for my liking.

I have a Yellow Tang, who I really enjoy. The color is really striking, especially against a blue background or purple-ish rocks. Although I haven't owned one, the Kole is really striking in appearance and has a good reputation as an algae eater and a mild-mannered fish.

Let's see in 3 tanks, I have:

3 Yellow
1 Purple
1 Blond Naso
2 Hepa
1 Powder Blue
1 Sailfin
1 Soho

Yes, I like tangs. Everyone is healthy and gets along. Of the ones you listed I'd go Purple just because of looks and durability.

All tangs are sensitive to water quality and nutrition. That said Yellows and Purples are pretty easy.

Oh, just scroll up to my first post for my signature.

I'll probably go with a yellow or kole, leaning more towards a yellow.
